Sleepy Time Gal on Pink Saturday!

Here's our little Sleepy Time Gal, Bonnie Lass, who decided to take a long winter's nap following all the excitement of Valentines Day and the grand finale of the 2010 ONE WORLD-ONE HEART Giveaways Event hosted by Lisa Swifka!

Catching a few Z's in Mom's creative space on one of Mom's vintage barkcloth pillows works better than anything...well, except for maybe cuddling up and watching TV together! She's our little darling and we love her, all eleven years of her!

(Bonnie is also making trips to see her veterinarian twice a week to work on fixing a pulled muscle in her leg but she is doing a bit better each week!)

Go to Bev's PINK SATURDAY for more Pink treasures!!

E is for Elves!

E is for Elves!

Elves is a general term for fairies especially in Anglo-Saxon Literature (lore). The king of elves, Oberon, his wife Titania, and the rascal Puck all appear in Shakespeare's famous play, A Midsummer Night's Dream. Though most elves live quiet lives without interfering directly with others, the impudent Puck involves himself in a lovers' tryst—a place he does not belong—leading to all sorts of complications!

When Dreams Come True!

With Valentine's Day right around the corner, I've decided to share this sweet handmade booklet which I recently discovered at an antique mall. The author of this booklet entitled, When Dreams Come True, tells us of a life long ago and speaks to us of love as she unfolds her dreams for the future. So dear! So nostalgic! Enjoy!

Proud Grandparents!

We are so proud of our grandson Bryan! This past week, Bryan, a senior in the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, was honored with a distinguished student award for ethics and leadership in dentistry. The award was introduced by the Dean, R. Bruce Donoff, DDS, MD (pictured above with Bryan following the ceremony).

On my son Paul's blog, Dental Nation, he writes, "Bryan has worked hard and persevered through the demands of dental school at Harvard. He has kept his sights on the goal of completing a quality education in dentistry. He is passionate about his profession and I know he will continue his lifelong quest for learning."

Congratulations, Bry! We love you!
