I love bleeding hearts, and I had one in the garden until this year when a worker who was helping in the yard cut it down accidentally. It literally broke my heart. That bleeding heart had survived cold winters, but it always managed to come back in full force, much like our grieving hearts withstand the losses and continue to have faith. You brought your Auntie Sep so much joy after she lost her little girl. WOW! 99 years young! She was blessed to have had you as a niece. Have a beautiful Indian Summer Sunday.
Hugs,
MarilynSummer Gypsyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09373355196337731396noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6558338959865495478.post-75324916861940052622009-08-29T11:25:23.386-04:002009-08-29T11:25:23.386-04:00Hello Coralie,

It reminds me of my lost Joanne and my dear wonderful Auntie Sep who lived to be 99 years old! It was Auntie Sep who made me aware of the colorful wonders of garden flowers and those on greeting cards which she sent to me on many occasions and of which I still have several. I'm sure it is because of those beautiful greeting cards that I still collect vintage greetings!Coralie Cederna Johnsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13396599065245860045noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6558338959865495478.post-26981990663263617392009-08-29T06:12:30.735-04:002009-08-29T06:12:30.735-04:00I never lost a childhood friend, but my sweet litt...I never lost a childhood friend, but my sweet little granddaughter did...her across the street friend moved clear to Texas and it broke her little heart...she mourned as if there had been a death...it was so hard on her parents.
