I follow your blog everyday even though I don't always comment. I am not a sewer or knitter even though I have done some of both. Just the bare bit that was part of motherhood. (Mending etc.) I am always willing to try anything and I have taken sewing lessons and made my children pyjamas and a dress (notice I say "A") for my daughter. I took cooking classes and tried a few dishes out on the family. I have picked up a hammer and saw, paint and paintbrush, lawnmower and hoe etc etc etc. I guess you could say I am a Jack of all trades, master of none. But I have never been very good at the regular things like sewing, knitting, decorating, baking. I guess because I was always working outside the home and in my spare time I worked with the Girl Guide organization for many years.
