I am embarrassed to say I didn't know wild roses existed.Do they really grow wild, or are there varieties called wild roses?Laura

Laura,We had wild roses growing near where I grew up. My parents sometimes walked along a path that brought the roses forth each year. My mother often recalled how my father had picked the wild roses for her first bouquet when they were but teens! (I do not know if they have a botanical name.)Thanks for visiting!Coralie

I love wild roses, and I have them! This is no small thing for me, for I am NO gardener. But my wild rose bush blooms every year for me and looks about like this. I am so grateful to them--they require nothing of me! C
