What delightful baby boomer family memories you've blessed me with. I tried macrame when I was first married, and later made a couple of crocheted doll dresses for my young children. I was at my girls school fete & I bought a fantastic 60's cooking book, OMG it's FANTASTIC, recipes and how to decorated THEMED dinners, Clambakes, Hogmanay, 'Surreal' dinner parties... ideas for invites, LOVE it & I think it may be similar vintage to your giveaway, Anyhows got a bit off track but it's all about getting to know people so

Oh, I'm so glad to find your blog! I love kitschy stuff -- count me in!! One time I lived in a house with a built in china cabinet. I made a museum out of it with little kitschy things like a Mr. Peanut bank and had cards with information like museums use. This is fun. I'm so glad to find out about you.
