Our assignment this week for Mrs. Matlock's Alphabe-Thursday's Rainbow Summer School, is to find and post something ORANGE! This little art print is from a 1940's pictorial scrapbook I recently discovered.
And here is Rip Van Winkle himself wondering, "Surely, I have not slept here all night!"
Happy Rainbow Days!

I love it. I have a love affair with older childrens books. The illustrations especially. They are so much more from a "gentler" time.
ReplyDeleteOh it's lovely Shelia, what a gorgeous print! I can see why you like it!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
