1940's Good Housekeeping Magazine!

This little girl reminds me of a time when I had a sewing machine just like this one; wore a ruffled pinafore, and played with my nurse doll! Don't you just love the colors in this vintage magazine cover!

  8. try this again!--I think I remember this magazine cover as my grandma had stacks of old magazines in her cupboard and I would go thru them when we would stay on her farm during the summer. I was pretty young, and never got to have my own machine, but, I was up sewing on my mom's Kenmore machine when I was nine! I loved sewing clothes for my dolls:)

  9. I have one of these little machines, it belonged to the Dutchman's Mom....so cute. I don't know if it works or not. I do remember making my daughter these pinafores.....I think she hated to wear them though!!!
