Pink Sand on a Peaceful Beach!

A Coconut-Shaded Bathing Beach of Hawaii - by D. Howard Hirchcock

About a year ago at a favorite antique mall, I discovered a 1930's scrapbook put together by an art-loving young woman long ago. This is one of the many paintings she cut from a then current art magazine and pasted into her book! Pink-shaded sand on a peaceful beach—so lovely!

  2. Very pretty. So lovely that the passionate collection of art should find it's way to a kindred spirit. I'm glad you rescued her scrapbook.

  3. Hi Coralie, Happy PINK Saturday! What a beautiful painting. I love those old scrapbooks and remember my mom's well. It is fascinating to see what they found interesting enough to save in a book to treasure again, and again. Have a great weekend, Nan
