Beautiful Spring Day!

It's another beautiful spring day here in Michigan and I'm enjoying the antics of all the birds who dance and dart about in my backyard at this time of year. I'm especially fond of the wren family that has come back once again to make their home in the little birdhouse under the big fir tree. Their musical voices carry through the neighborhood as they call out, letting everyone know they are here once again to stay through the summer. Their songs bring joy to my heart!

The songs of birds has always been one of my greatest joys. Unfortunately my hearing is fast dissapearing and it is hard to hear them now - even with my hearing aids in. The Red Wing Blackbird is clear and loud so I hear him quite a bit but it is sad that I cant enjoy them all like I used to.

What a pretty image. I love all the birds around here. I used to feed the birds when I lived in the city but I never saw so many birds as I do now living out in the country.

I'm so happy your Wrens are back. Love that vintage bird's nest. I wonder why it is that bird's nests evoke such warm feelings.

Your wrens have a charming home at your house, and they appreciate it! Thus, the beautiful lilting melodies are to thank you for your hospitality! Happy Spring, Coralie!

Thank you for your sweet comment hon. We lost Mom in 87. I often see her in the mirror these days. It is still a shock as I still think of myself as about 35 - lol. Hope your husband is doing well. Blessings, Sarah
