A quick update on "the move": I'm still in the process of moving The Charms of Ordinary Days posts to this blog. The blogger merge program did not work for me (and believe me I tried it many times) so I am moving one post at a time. It's going well, just a bit slower than I'd like. But I'm getting there! Thank you all for your patience!
Don't you love this vintage postcard? But is it really a bluebird? Or is it a swallow?

Hello Coralie,
ReplyDeleteI'm making the move with you. Hope it goes smoothly from here on out.
I vote blue bird~smiles~
ReplyDeleteHope you have a bright and happy day!☼
So that's why I get posts from you that are from July! I thought there was something wrong with Blogger! I think that might be a swallow. At least that's what swallow tails look like. Either way, it's a pretty bird!
ReplyDeleteCoralie, after seeing this post I feel like we are truly kindred spirits. I chose vintage postcards to share on my post today too! I'm afraid I am not very good at identifying bird species. There are similarities to both birds in that illustration. It's a labor of love that you are combining your blogs. I know it's time consuming, but I am enjoying All your posts so much. It's just a delight that I have found you! Have a wonderful day! Twyla
ReplyDeleteCoralie, you posts & blog presentations are always always soothing, breathtaking & warm. TTFN ~ Marydon
ReplyDeleteHmmm, has the color of a bluebird, but is shaped like a swallow!! :)
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you Coralie! Isn't my sister Bevie a sweetheart!!

I think it's a swallow!
ReplyDeleteHi, Coralie,
ReplyDeleteI am not sure what kind of bird, but it is pretty. Love all these vintage images. You are a brave woman to merge two blogs. I am just starting a blog so you have my greatest admiration. Have a happy week. Vicki
Hi Coralie,
ReplyDeleteAt first I thought that it's a swallow...then, it looks like a bluebird. I think it's a bluebird swallow!!!! It is such a joy when a a post takes me back to light hearted childhood days and thoughts of whimsy? That's so what your blog does for me! Your vintage finds and your charming style brighten my day when I can visit, Coralie! Have a blessed rest of the week!
Hugs,
Marilyn
