  2. I have fond memories of Shoe stores. When I was young(1950's) My mother took me to a shoe store for all my shoes. Shoes were are very important article of clothing to her. They had to fit right. Unlike today standards in America. I miss those town shoe store.

    I REMEMBER THE PRIVATE OWNED SHOE STORES, THAT IS THE ONLY PLACE WE WENT TO BUY SHOES.
