  2. Good Morning Coralie Sweetie...
What a fun share this morning. Yes, I do remember bobbypins and the indentions they left in my head when Moma would wrap my hair up in a bun. If that wasn't torcher enough she would pin my curlers in place on Saturday evening for a gorgeous showing of curls for Sunday morning service.

Yep, I do remember the bobby pins. Hope you are well sweetie. Give the critters a little lovin from me.

Have a gorgeous day. I am off to work. Country hugs sweetie and so much love, Sherry

  3. LOL, I have HORRIBLE memories of Bobby Pins! Every Saturday night my mom would sit me down and wind my hair into these tight little curls around her finger then pin them flat to my head with two bobbie pins, criss-crossed in an X. By the time she was finished I looked like a science experiment gone wrong and I'm sure if I sat on the roof I could have picked up the local TV station! And let me tell you, the results the next morning were no less painful! No wonder I hated going to Sunday School. Thanks for the trip down memory lane, I think. ;)

  7. My Mother used to put them in my hair all the time. Sometimes she would accidentally push them in too hard, boy did that hurt! My darling daughter puts them in herself...smart choice :)

  10. Ouch! My mother also pinned my hair when I was younger and later I did it myself and could never get them right; the curls all had big "kinks" in them! So glad they are a thing of the past, but fun to remember!
