That's my 12 1/2 year old sister Carrie behind me in the picture. You can tell who she is by her plain face (that's what she is called—a "Plain Faced Sheltie"—because her face fur is all velvety brown!) Isn't she beautiful?
That's me in front of her. My name is Bonnie Lass and I'm a sable and white sheltie. I turned 11 years old in October an I'm slowing down a little but I can still bark with the best of them!
Have a great day everyone! And remember to love your pets as much as our mom and dad love us! (We were rescued many years ago and have Mom and Dad wrapped around our little paws. It's best that way!) Happy barks to all!
Hello Bonnie Lass! You and your sister are just beautiful. My precious Keelie and Josh send happy barks your way.
ReplyDeleteCoralie,
ReplyDeleteI love your precious pets. I took our Sadiemay to the groomers yesterday. She got her teeth brushed and the whole works. She is 8 years old and starting to slow down just a bit. But then again it is winter and her frisbee catching days are put on hold. Blessings always!
Gwen
What a lovely post from a Bonnie Lass. Thanks for introducing your sister, too! Please pass my regards to your momma, Coralie. I'll be back to visit again soon.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful, beautiful Carrie and Bonnie Lass!
ReplyDeleteCoralie, I love posts about your precious dogs. It is so heartwarming to see people who love their dogs and take as good care of them as you do. My kids tease me and say I love our dogs more than I love them. Your girls are so beautiful. Thank you for stopping by and for your sweet comment. It always makes my day to see you've visited. Have a wonderful day! Twyla
ReplyDeleteDogs love to go in the car for a ride and your dogs are always so much fun to see! I hope they went some place fun and got lots of attention from the people who saw them today.

What wonderful dogs. Your fondness for them is evident. I hope you can enjoy their company for years to come.
ReplyDeleteThey're beautiful, Coralie--and look very well-behaved and adored!
ReplyDeleteJust adorable & precious! They are so cute sitting in the back seat waiting for their ride with mom & dad ! They do look like they would have mom & dad wrapped around their fingers ! Pets are grand !

Hi Coralie
ReplyDeleteYour dogs are absolutely gorgeous. Shelties are really nice dogs, friends of ours had two for many years, sadly they've now gone to doggy heaven.
You are so very lucky to have a mama who loves you so much! You two are absolutely darling! Kissies!
ReplyDeleteCoralie,
ReplyDeleteYour Carrie and Bonnie Lass are so precious. I love how they are gently posing for the camera. Such a beautiful breed.

What a pair of sweet girls. I know how much pleasure they bring into your life. We have two rescued dogs too. But we have a sweet girl and one very naughty boy. Hope you have a lovely day.
ReplyDeleteHi, thank you so much for the lovely comment on my first year on blogger anniversary. I see you have spruced up your blog background with lovely pink flowers, it makes me wish that spring time were already here!! :-) Been a while since I have been by to visit, I have to bashfully admit. I have been missing out on some wonderful posts!! take care, and I will be back again soon to see what other delightful things you have to share with one and all. debby
ReplyDeleteI miss having a dog so much! Our daughter is allergic, and my husband just doesn't want a dog. Can you imagine? I always loved bringing our dog for a car ride when I was little, especially when it could hang it's head out the window!
ReplyDeleteThey must give you such joy. Especially because you rescued them! (I've read Bonnie Lass's story!)
ReplyDeleteCoralie,
ReplyDeleteYour babies are beautiful and they can tell stories too!!!
Bless you for rescuing them. I have two rescured kitties that I adore. Wouldn't know what to do without them.
Hi Coralie, BonnieLass and Carrie...You gals are beautiful and not showing your age a bit! Dolly and Ruby invite you to join them for their CollectInTexas Gal Sue for her January BlogginBirthday Party. She's promised some yummy doggie treats since we can't have ChocolateCake. Ya'll come and SignUp for the PinkPlate GiveAway. It'd make a great 'TreatDish', and Coralie will like it too.

Such pretty girls! My corgi kids go most places with me. They jump for joy if they see me brush my teeth, or grab the keys. They watch constantly, heaven forbid they miss out on an outing. Not sure what they'll do if I ever go back to work! They're so spoiled now...and boss me around so. They love going through the bank drive up window...biscuits! Then CVS, biscuits! Sigh....what piggies!
ReplyDeleteOh you are both beautiful pups! And you sit so nicely in the car! I would take you out and get you each a bag of dog treats for sure!!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful girls! They sure like to take their picture don't they? Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteBut then again it is winter and her frisbee catching days are put on hold. Blessings always!

I was wondering why I hadn't heard from you guys lately. I'm glad to see that your mom and dad take you for rides. I love to go for rides especially when my mom, Christine, goes to Walgreens drive thru because I wait by the window until they give me a dog biscuit. Tell your mom to take you there sometime. They have the BEST biscuits.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Christine
p.s. some drive thrus don't give biscuits so my mom keeps some in the car so I still get one!
How sweet!
