Lassie and the Kittens!

Here is a third offering of the Lassie books in my vintage collection. I'll be sharing these Lassie books all week so be sure to come back and see all the others I'll be posting. Today's book is entitled, Lassie and the Kittens. Don't you just love the colors and graphics on this cover?

As a child, I fell in love with Lassie and could never get enough of the stories about this wonderful collie! How about you? Did you enjoy the tales of rescue: books, films, and TV?

Today, I am also participating in RUBY TUESDAY hosted by WORK OF THE POET. Click HERE to see more participants and their beautiful shades of red!

  1. Yes, I loved all the Lassie stories. And it is a pretty cover on the book. But then lassie is a pretty dog.

  5. Lassie is such a reminder of the past when things were slower. Life was different. Now everyone seems to rush about. I need to get some of my old Lassie books and read. Thanks for sharing.

  6. Yay! More Lassie! If they ran the old Lassie show now, I would still watch it! Good clean fun!

  7. I think as kids we all wanted a Lassie of our very own. At least I did.

  13. Thanks for stopping by my blog...I'm glad I stopped by yours! It is delightful!

I watched the television show Lassie growing up. When people ask me what kind of dogs I have, and look confused when I say "shelties", they always understand when I say, "Oh, they look like small Lassie dogs."
