This darling vintage hankie is a recent find. When I was a child, my first collection was of pretty and interesting hankies. So when I saw this one, I just couldn't resist it! I don't buy a lot of hankies any more but I always look for the fairy tale ones of long ago. There aren't a lot of them around; at least I haven't seen many. So it was great fun to find this one!

ReplyDeleteMy first collection was of hankies too! I use to stay with my grandmother and play with her old purses and sometimes would find a delightful treasure inside one and then would beg her to let me keep it. And most of the time she would!
I am still drawn to vintage linens and lace. I now collect tablecloths.
