  2. Mmmmm, sweet saying.

Especially since we humans tend to look backward, with regrets and "what if's." And of course, we shouldn't. Thank you for reminding us. :-)

  3. Oh Coralle,
This is such a lovely image. I just opened up a blog and shop about for the love of old books. I want to restore and create cards and prints from artwork found in antique books. There is something about this art that really speaks to my heart.

Looking backwards with a smile, what a lovely thought.

  5. It is so easy to be hard on ourselves and focus on what we didn't get done or sad because our kids are growing up too fast or we didn't get that promotion. We need to look back with more smiles.

  8. Coralie, This so reflects the words to Auld Lang Syne! Auld Lang Syne is a Scottish poem written by Robert Burns in 1788. Although the song begins with a question whether old times should be forgotten, the song is generally interpreted as a call to remember long standing friendships.
I posted an actual image from Robert Burns's handwritten lyrics at www.KristinasVintageWorld.Blogspot.com

Thanks for your beautiful image and post!
