Little Girl's Dress Pattern! Simplicity: 15 cents!

This simplicity pattern was purchased by thousands of mothers everywhere in the early 1940's. In fact, this pattern was popular all the way through the 60's and even after that.

The trick with this dress was to put one's own "spin" on it. While the dress itself was rather simple in design, the yards and yards of available fabrics through the years turned the dress from cute to pretty to beautiful depending on the choice of patterns and colors. Did you have a dress like this? What color was it?

I definitely had a dress or dresses like this. What colour, I don't remember. But I do remember a little girl named Jane is a book that I read in school.
