Homework! It's Not Just For Kids!

I actually meant to post this earlier in September when school first started but, guess what, I got too busy with my classes to remember I had prepared this post ahead of time. Still, it's such a fun post, I thought I'd go ahead and share it with you now. Hope you enjoy the vintage postcard and poem!

  1. What a precious little girl. Love the post. Sharon

  2. This is sooo cute!! And exactly how I feel every night, lol!! My oldest is in fifth grade this year and WOW does he have a lot of homework. And sometimes, I cant even help him, lol! I am definitely NOT smarter than a fifth grader, lol! CUTE post!

  3. This is an adorably true post, thanks for sharing darling.

    Love & Hugs

  4. I'm so happy you stopped by. Thank you for the sweet comments. Your blog is beautiful! I followed you as well and will be back to visit.

  5. Hi Ms. Coralie,
I just wanted to drop by and thank you for becoming a follower. I am trully flattered. I do hope you come visit again real soon.

By the way, let me say how beautiful I think your blog is. I love the two little sweet. And Your header is simply very lovely.
    Wishing you a wonderful day.

  6. Loved the poem and the postcard! Since I've gone back to school - I do feel a little young again!

  7. Oh but they are precious days, helping them with homework. Before you know it, they know it all!

Sad as it may be, when I read "take my paper up to scan the evening news", I thought, "uh-oh. The child will need to use the scanner at the same time."
This is a sad reminder that I think like a nerd.

    Hi Coralie!

  8. Darling, Coralie. You have the neatest 'things'. TY for the sweet words today. Have a great weekend. TTFN ~ Marydon

  9. This is adorable anytime! Thanks for sharing. Twyla

  10. Oh, yes, Coralie, I remember those days so well. Cute post and thank you for sharing that poem. Vicki

  11. Wow - I didn't realize this parental participation in homework thing wasn't a new development! Cute and funny poem!
