Wish You Could Fly?

Here's a beautiful 1942 illustration from the stunning children's cloth book, Pretty Pussies by Sam'l Gabriel & Sons, NY. Don't you just know exactly how this little kitten feels? I do!

Such a sweet illustration, and yes, I have been there right with that sweet kitty. Your blog is beautiful, and I am enjoying reading your posts. I just started a blog. I am a recently retired schoolteacher. Come visit with me at Bunny Cottage if you have the opportunity

I just love that picture. I have another favorite picture like that and it shows a kitten hanging on to a knot at the end of a rope. The caption - "When you get to the end of your rope - tie a knot and hang on."
