This 1930's Quilt Block is referred to here as "The Diamond Field." The following is what the Lansing State Journal, a Michigan newspaper, had to say about this quilt design in 1933:
"This pattern is a step child of the Bouquet or Rose Garden quilt. This design offers you a chance to work up those scraps of material you may have in your quilting supplies.
The Diamond Field is an entirely different version of the Rose Garden quilt, and you will enjoy making this modern design."Does anyone have another name for this pattern?
